This lush book brings the viewer to the shoreline of Lake Washington altered by the Army Corps of Engineers. Through sequential color spreads, intimate black and white pinhole photographs, and narrative, Lake Washington Palimpsest explores this iconic northwest landscape and the environmental consequences of this audacious intervention of man upon nature. It was created to accompany a solo exhibition at the Museum of Northwest Art. Selections from the suite of photographs included in the exhibition and book can be viewed here.
