Summer Lake Sonata
This mixed media artist book uses a musical score as the base pages, complemented by collage, image transfers, hand drawn illustrations inspired by Old Master drawings and cyanotype. A sampling of spreads is shown here. I began this book during a residency at Playa in Summer Lake, Oregon, and completed it years later in Seattle.
This one-of-a-kind artist book is hardbound with a binding sewn on tapes. 6.25″h x 4.75″w x .75″d (closed). 6.25″h x 9.75″w (open).
